The UK and Republic of Ireland markets are now Biome’s oyster.
Microbiome health company Biome Australia is now delivering its Activated Probiotics range into pharmacy and health retail stores in the UK and the Republic of Ireland following a distribution agreement with CLF (UK) and iiHealthfoods (RI).
“This is a significant achievement and demonstrates our ability to both execute and scale into new international markets,” said Biome managing director and founder Blair Norfolk.
“We are confident that we have the right elements in place for these markets to add material value to the Biome business over coming years.
“These new markets will also strengthen our ability to support new patients, improve their health outcomes, quality of life and make our products accessible to all – that remains our core mission.”
Biome Australia develops, licences, commercialises and markets evidence-based live biotherapeutics (probiotics) and complementary medicines, many of which are supported by clinical research.
Incorporated in Australia in 2018, Biome distributes locally and abroad. Biome produced several unique live biotherapeutic (probiotic) products with delivery technologies that improve their stability and efficacy to create its Activated Probiotics range, which supports the management of various health concerns, including low mood and sleep, bone health, iron malabsorption, mild eczema and IBS.
Biome also develops, licenses and distributes a scientifically formulated, organic nutraceutical range, Activated Nutrients.
