Digital prescription app now connected to national script service

Digital health provider Oexa has integrated its ePrescription wallet app, Scripty, with the national Active Script List service.


Queensland-based digital health provider Oexa has confirmed its free, digital prescription wallet app, Scripty, is now integrated with the Department of Health and Aged Care’s Active Script List service, My Script List (MySL).

The integration, achieved via Oexa’s secure gateway service Managed Intermediary, will allow consumers to directly view and manage their active prescriptions through the Scripty app, information that was previously only accessible to healthcare providers, the announcement confirmed.

 The app will also be automatically updated to display new prescriptions or repeat eScript tokens as soon as they appear, with a detailed guide with FAQs featured to help users navigate MySL, including instructions on how to activating a MySL code and how to effectively managing prescriptions with the new feature.

A separate, custom support guide is also available for pharmacies.

 “With Managed Intermediary, Scripty promises a secure, compliant, and feature-rich integration, freeing health vendors to focus on provide great consumer experiences while Oexa handles the behind-the-scenes intricacies,” the announcement said.

“By meeting the stringent conformance standards of the Australian Digital Health Agency, Scripty guarantees the security and protection of your health data, combining reliability with user-focused innovation.”
