Heidi Health’s AI Scribe now live within MediRecords

It’s all systems go for the practice management integration.

Heidi Health’s AI Scribe is now live and fully integrated within cloud-based patient management and in-patient EHR platform MediRecords’ clinical dashboard.

The integration was announced back in September, when Heidi Health founder Dr Thomas Kelly told HSD the profile of MediRecords, with its cloud-first platform, footprint in virtual care, growth into the smaller hospital market and significant government contracts, made the vendor a good place to start its journey of integrations with key local medical software platforms.

Today in a LinkedIn post, Dr Kelly announced the integration was live with a 30-day free trial for MediRecords customers.

Heidi AI Scribe is an opt-in tool that uses AI-driven ambient listening, capturing a doctor’s consultation in real time and automatically formatting notes or reports for review.

Clinicians can navigate throughout MediRecords during a consult and Heidi will ensure notes are recorded and, once reviewed, captured in the Today’s Notes section for that patient.

Is hospital-to-GP our most important HIE use case?

AI scribe wars heating up

The platform allows for switching patients during a scribing session. Prior to reviewing and saving, the scribing will cease and the notes will be available to review in the clinician’s external Heidi Health account.

Heidi is not included in MediRecords licenses, but requires a “Heidi Together” subscription plan for the MediRecords integration to be available.

Declaration of interest: HSD publisher Jeremy Knibbs is a non-executive director of MediRecords.
