ANZ hospitals will have access to a multifaceted digital health platform with modules designed to reduce surgical wait lists and provide up-to-date wait times.

Leading digital health provider Personify Care has partnered with Sydney-based software provider Novari Health to expand the global reach of Novari’s patient engagement and referral management systems, aimed at reducing wait times and improving the quality of care across hospitals and health systems.

Under the new agreement, health systems in Australia and New Zealand will be able to access the Novari Access to Care platform, a fully interoperable, cloud-based system with software modules to manage referrals and surgical wait lists as well as reporting on average wait times for services and coordination of care.

The referral management solutions will also facilitate the use of clinically defined pre-admission pathways, designed to reduce administrative burden for clinicians by offering patients more comprehensive information about their care, the announcement said.

The partnership will also involve the launch of Novari’s Patient Engage system in Canada and the US.

“By joining forces with Novari in this partnership, we not only increase the reach of our technology to new health systems, but we also enhance the value and impact we can deliver for patients, clinicians and health systems through an interoperable end-to-end solution across the entire patient journey,” Personify Health CEO Ken Saman said.
