A strategic partnership with Novari Health promises flexibility and integration.
Patient flow solution provider Alcidion and waitlist management specialists Novari Health have signed a strategic partnership to provide a patient journey management solution to health services in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK.
Both companies offer cloud-based, modular solutions to enhance patient flow management from specialist referrals to inpatient admissions, and bed allocations through to discharge.
Novari’s Access to Care platform includes a series of integrated software modules providing surgical wait list management, referral management, central intake and care coordination.
Alcidion’s Miya Precision platform, which includes Miya Flow, is a modular solution providing electronic patient journey boards that present real-time data to create a comprehensive view of patient, ward, site and health service capacity and demand.
Users can pick and choose which modules to adopt, said Alcidion CEO Kate Quirke.
“It may be that they have an eReferral platform already, but want to streamline the referral management process into the elective booking process.
“This can all be accommodated because both platforms operate in a modular fashion and both are cloud based,” she said.
“We see the real synergy lies in the connection between the referral management process, the elective waiting list, and the main management of this into the bed allocation and patient flow processes of the health service.
“Integrating the data and allowing the flow of that data through the workflows will provide greater efficiency and exposure to the process.
“We are looking forward to being able to demonstrate how the combination of this data can enrich the operations command centre or provide insights into data that might not be possible now.”
The offering is available now and ready for procurement here and across the joint markets the two companies serve. Alcidion has installations in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, while Novari Health is predominantly headquartered in Canada, but also has offices in ANZ.
