Ahmad Rashad Nadir cops one of the same charges as his female colleague and an added charge for drug possession.

The second former Bankstown Hospital nurse involved in an anti-Semitic video posted to social media on 12 February has been charged by police.

Ahmad Rashad Nadir, 27, was charged on Tuesday night with the Commonwealth offence of using a carriage service to menace or harass and on one count of drug possession relating to morphine allegedly found in his work locker.

Mr Nadir and his colleague Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 27, were stood down by NSW Health, deregistered by the NSW regulators, and subsequently nationally by Ahpra and the national nursing and midwifery board.

Ms Abu Lebdeh was charged last week with threatening violence to a group, using a carriage service to threaten to kill and using a carriage service to menace/harass/offend.

Mr Nadir was granted police bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court later this month.

In the video, Mr Nadir says: “You have no idea how many [Israelis] came to this hospital, and I sent them to Jahannam [the Islamic equivalent of the underworld].”

Ms Abu Lebdeh meanwhile allegedly threatens Israeli patients and tells Israeli influencer Max Veifer: “One day, your time will come, and you will die the most horrible death.”

When asked what would happen if an Israeli patient came into the hospital, she says: “I won’t treat them; I will kill them.”
