Visionflex expands its remote virtual care equipment footprint into New Zealand.
Visionflex has entered into a partnership with Spark Health, a division of New Zealand’s digital services provider Spark, to enhance the country’s healthcare accessibility through a new non-exclusive reseller agreement.
Spark Health will introduce Visionflex’s virtual care technology to healthcare providers across New Zealand, enabling clinical-grade remote diagnostics and consultations.
Visionflex has completed significant deals in the last 18 months in Australia to deliver the same technology including contracts with multiple PHNs to install the technology into over 500 residential aged care homes across Australia.
According to both parties the deal will aim to address the increasing demand for remote healthcare solutions in New Zealand’s diverse communities.
Visionflex’s platform will allow Spark Health to offer healthcare providers real-time, remote diagnostic capabilities potentially enabling expansion of healthcare access, especially in remote regions of New Zealand.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy as we continue to deliver innovative virtual health solutions to more healthcare providers and patients across New Zealand,” CEO of Visionflex Josh Mundey said.
According to Mr Mundey the choice of Visionflex’s platform by Spark Health was driven by its comprehensive features, including scalability across various clinical environments and flexibility to meet diverse healthcare provider needs., narrowing the gap between virtual and in-person care.
John Macaskill-Smith, CEO of Spark Health, said that the partnership could prove important for remote communities in New Zealand. He said that Visionflex’s platform will improve access to specialised care and reduce travel time for patients in remote areas like the West Coast and Chatham Islands.
