Queensland is going all in on health infrastructure investment and the two companies are combining resources to bid on digital transformation projects.

Australian digital ICT solutions provider Vitalis has signed a memorandum of understanding with global transformation outfit Servita to drive large-scale healthcare digital transformation projects in Queensland and Australia.

Vitalis and Servita aim to secure and deliver key projects within the $10 billion Queensland Health Capital Expansion Program (QH CEP).

London-based Servita will be opening a new office in Sydney as part of its plan to expand its footprint in the Australian healthcare market.

Servita will be bringing additional capabilities and capacity to support Vitalis and directly assist Queensland Health Projects, as well as addressing the wider demand in Australia. This support will be broad, encompassing program and project management, PMO, enterprise architecture, business and clinical analysis, transformation, technical delivery management and assurance, and testing-as-a-service to enable the effective and efficient provision of digital hospital IT infrastructure.

Servita will cover everything from hospital digital design, application procurement, integration and implementation to the establishment of digital hospital IT departments and the managed service operations of IT.

Additionally, Servita will be building on its work in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia with virtual wards, patient engagement and the development and delivery of innovative health tech solutions.
