Aged care staff can use the app to scan tags or QR codes in a resident’s room for immediate access to a profile and task list.

Digital aged care solutions distributor Wavelink has inked a new partnership with software platform Acredia to roll out an app for residential aged care.

The Care Direct app, which was developed by Acredia, allows care workers to scan tags and QR codes to access a resident’s digital profile and tasks list.

According to the vendors, it supports care workers in their daily tasks as well as enhancing data consistency, reporting accuracy and productivity.

Acredia also offers additional modules for risk management, incident management and HR compliance, as well as an app that facilitates communication between residents, their families and the aged care facility.

“Partnering with Wavelink is an exciting milestone for Acredia as the business continues to expand its presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets,” software platform CEO Dr Charles Chang said.

“This collaboration significantly enhances Acredia’s capacity to deliver innovative and comprehensive care solutions.”

“Wavelink is confident that this collaboration will bring significant benefits to the market, especially as the focus on quality care delivery remains paramount.”

Wavelink will host a webinar on the Acredia software on Thursday 3 October.
